    Ecobank Senegal (ESN) is a financial institution supervised and regulated by the Bank of West African States (BCEAO). ESN has 28 branches. 2023 was a year of robust growth for Ecobank Senegal, despite a difficult national and international economic context. The good performance is the result of a dynamic commercial strategy, a prudent risk management and a strategic focus on digitized services. We have launched several mass payment solutions for the retail banking. We have implemented actions towards an improvement of the branch network for the year 2024. A strengthening of our customer relationships through personalized services and continuous improvement of the customer experience. Several measures were also taken to improve risk management and ensure full compliance with local, regional and international financial regulations. The return on equity (ROE) has increased to over 44 per cent, compared to 40 per cent for the year 2022, and return on assets (ROA) to over 2.5 per cent. Ecobank Sénégal has experienced strong growth since opening and is the third largest institution out of 29 local banks.
