    Ecobank Sierra Leone is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), a leading Pan-African banking group, employing over 14,800 people and operating across 33 markets across Africa. Ecobank Sierra Leone commenced business in November 2006. It provides a wide range of financial services to; Consumer, Commercial and Corporate Banking customers through its head office and branches in Freetown, Makeni, Kenema and Bo.

    The Bank is regulated by the Central Bank of Sierra Leone (BSL) and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Sierra Leone.

    The Bank’s share capital is currently NLE86.5 million while the net worth is NLe2.5biillion. As per BSL requirement, all commercial banks in Sierra Leone should have a minimum of NLe85 million unimpaired capital by the close of December 2022 and the Bank made a PBT of NLe166,531 in 2022.
