    The bank was incorporated as a private limited liability company and obtained a license to operate as a commercial bank on August 16, 1999. As at June 10, 2021, there are nine (9) licensed commercial banks in Liberia with Ecobank Liberia maintaining the leading role. The Bank currently has nine (9) branches and several cash centers as well as over 33 ATMs and 90 POS meeting the needs of our esteemed customers across the Country. The Bank also has over 200 agent locations to deliver banking services to valued customers.

    Ecobank Liberia (ELR) has an asset base of LR$38,970,347,210 as at December 31, 2020.

    Ecobank Liberia is regulated by the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL) and has met all regulatory capital requirements and remains committed to operating in accordance with the prudential guidelines.
