What is a Visa on-line Debit Card?

A Visa on-line debit card is an electronic purse that provides you with instance access to your bank funds in a secure safe and convenient manner. Visa cards can be used to purchase items in a convenient manner replacing cash or cheques wherever you see the Visa branded sign. It can also be used to withdraw cash from the automatic teller machine.

I've been accepted, When do I get my card?

Your card will be ready within seven working days of your receipt of your application. You will be contacted by a Customer Care officer when your card is ready for collection.

i have been declined for a credit card before - does this mean ecobank will decline me?

Not necessarily. Ecobank takes all the information you provide on your application form into consideration - and a decision is then made based on that information. In addition the bank also relies on other internal data for its reference.

How long will it take to complete my application form?

It should take between 5 and 10 minutes.

What happens if my visa card gets lost or stolen?
