Mr. Dele Babade

Position – Group Executive, Ecobank Capital
Mr. Dele Babade joined the Group on December 1st 2010,  as the Group Executive, Ecobank Capital   Mr. Babade has worked in the financial services sector for over 20 years, holding various positions at global banks including HSBC Group/Samuel Montagu Merchant Bank and  Nomura International in London.  He previously served as Director & Head of Citigroup's Sub-Sahara Africa Division Corporate Finance in Johannesburg, South Africa where he was the Business Manager for the corporate finance, capital markets & investment banking business covering 33 countries across Sub- Sahara Africa.  Prior to joining Ecobank, Mr. Babade was CEO of AfriCapital LLC, a Pan-African corporate finance and financial advisory firm that he founded in 2007.

Mr Ehouman Kassi

Position – Group Head, Investment Banking, Ecobank Capital
Mr Ehouman Kassi was appointed Group Head, Investment Banking and Asset Management in January 2010; based in Paris-France. Previously he was the Managing Director of Ecobank Senegal from 2006 to 2010. He was Managing Director of Ecobank Investment Corporation (the Group’s stockbrokerage subsidiary covering the West African Monetary Union region) from 2003 to 2005 and Regional Manager for Ecobank Development Corporation (the Group’s investment banking subsidiary) where he had responsibility for business development across nine francophone countries from 2001 to 2005.

Mr Abdul Aziz Dia

Position – Group Head, Treasury, Ecobank Capital

At the helm of the treasury business, Mr. Abdul Aziz Dia returned to the Group on December 1st 2010 as Group Head, Treasury.  Mr. Dia began his career over 18 years ago as a derivatives trader with Societe Generale in Paris.  He has held various treasury roles at HSBC, the African Development Bank, as well as Citibank; and was the Head of Treasury Sales and Derivatives for sub-Sahara Africa with Standard Charted Bank until he joined Ecobank in July 2007.  Mr. Dia rejoins the Ecobank Group after a brief stint at UBA.

Mr Winston Osuchukwu

Position – Group Head, Asset Management & Securities


Mr Winston Osuchukwu brings to this role a wealth of experience gained over more than 15 years in the financial services business internationally and in Nigeria.

He was most recently the CEO of Access Investment & Securities; the asset management subsidiary of Access Bank Plc. Prior to Access Investments & Securities, Winston was the head of Asset Management at Afrinvest West Africa Ltd. Winston began his career in financial services with Van Kampen Funds Inc and after a brief career with Valic American (AIG), joined the JP Morgan Chase in their Global Investor Services Business, subsequent to that he was appointed as an AVP in the Structured finance group of JP Morgan Chase. His last career stop prior to returning to Nigeria was with Lehman Brothers were he was part of the Wealth and Asset Management team.

Mr Paul-Harry Aithnard

Position – Group Head, Research, Ecobank Capital
Paul-Harry has been Ecobank Group Head of Research since 2008. Prior to joining Ecobank, Paul-Harry worked between 2000 and 2008 in various positions with BBSP, a leading Research and Markets strategy firm located in Paris, Montreal and Singapore. As Global Head of Commodities, and Co-Head of Global Macro Analysis in Paris,  Paul-Harry supervised all commodities research at BBSP and covered key institutional clients (Banks, Asset managers, Hedge funds) on investment strategies in various assets/markets, including commodities, fixed income, equity and currency markets in Africa. From 2000 to 2007, Paul-Harry was a director of the North American office located in Montreal, in charge of the Equity Research and Sales.
