Purpose:Financial aid to contribute to the propagation of African cultural values.

Pathfinder project, Benin 2007:After Dakar, Bamako, Yamoussoukro, Rabat, Gorée, Ouagadougou and Niamey, the 8th “Camp d’Excellence” for the training of young African girls in science education and mathematics will take place in Cotonou, Bénin from 4th to 26th August, 2007.

Purpose:Promote science education and the teaching of Mathematics on the African continent.

Project:Prize for good Corporate Governance, Uemoa Zone, Benin 2007. Launching of the 2nd edition of the Prize for Good Corporate Governance in the UEMOA Region, Cotonou, Bénin from July 2007.

Purpose:Awareness campaign for the mastery of the principles of good governance.

Project:Construction of a Public Primary School in Malanhoui village,Ouémé-Plateau Council Area, Bénin.

Subvention granted:15 millions F CFA

Purpose:Financial aid to promote the development of basic education in rural areas.

International seminar project, Benin 2006: A seminar on «Traditional Knowledge and Modern Science» organised in Porto-Novo, Bénin. Organisation of an inter-university seminar for doctorate students carrying out research work on « Epistemology and Anthropology: Studies in the system of knowledge and oral traditions».

Partner: Centre Africain des Hautes Etudes, Porto-Novo, Bénin.

Subvention granted:5 millions F CFA

Purpose:Financial aid to intensify reflections on science and culture, presented at the Seminar from 16 - 19 October, 2006 followed by a Workshop from 20 - 27 October, 2006.

Objective:Participation in the National Solidarity Campaign entitled “Month of Health Solidarity” organised from July 1st to 31st 2005 within the framework of the fight against Malaria, AIDS, and Tuberculosis.
