SHARE OWNERSHIP STRUCTURE
The authorized capital of the Company is $ 1, 250, 000, 000 in the currency of the United States of America divided into 50,000,000,000 ordinary shares of $ 2.5 US cents each whilst the subscribed and paid-up capital is about US $ 773 000 made up of 6, 8 700 000 000 shares valued at par.
The Company has no other types or categories of shares other than ordinary shares. Each shareholder is entitled to vote and shares are transferable without restrictions.
The existing shareholders have pre-emptive rights to new shares issued but this right may be waived by a majority of shareholders holding 55 percent or more of the share capital. The shareholders also have the sub-divide existing shares by an extraordinary resolution.
As at July 2009, ETI’s shares are held by more than 170,000 private and institutional shareholders throughout the world.
